A very popular youth film when it was released, six college students on winter break take a ski trip that ends up being an eye opening weekend for all. Four Christians and two non-believers each are faced with important and honest issues in life. Vince agrees to go on the weekend retreat looking for answers. Shawna agrees to go but doesn't realize it's a group of Christians who have gathered and resents the whole idea of Christianity. But when what is harbored deep down inside begins to surface, all of them realize more of who they are...and who Christ is. This film also has a sequel which followed in 1989, On the Edge.
